Keepsake Box, Wooden Trinket Box, Large Memory Box, Pine Chest - Without Tray. The Chest is made from Radiata Pine. The wood is 1" thick and the outside is stained with a walnut colored oil finish. The sides are joined using a haunched box joint. A box joint means the ends of the wood pieces are interleaved almost like dove tails. The box is then pin nailed for a super strong joint. The box joint also adds a nice decorative accent to the piece. Every home has items which are necessary for daily life which do not make for great decoration. The 17.75” (w) x 12 (d) x 9.75 (h) chest is a great size for storing items in your bedroom, bathroom, living room or kitchen. The chest itself makes a great decorating accent as well as a useful storage space.
